Last updated: February 1, 2026

Our Commitment

CleoSocial.app ("CleoSocial") is committed to ensuring digital accessibility for people with disabilities. We are continually improving the user experience for everyone and applying the relevant accessibility standards to ensure we provide equal access to all users.

We strive to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at the AA level. These guidelines explain how to make web content more accessible for people with disabilities and more user-friendly for everyone.

Accessibility Features

Visual Accessibility

  • Color Contrast: We maintain sufficient color contrast ratios between text and background colors throughout the interface.
  • Dark Mode: A full dark mode theme is available to reduce eye strain and improve readability in low-light environments.
  • Scalable Text: The interface supports browser-level text scaling and zoom functionality up to 200%.
  • Focus Indicators: Visible focus indicators are provided for all interactive elements to help keyboard users.

Navigation and Interaction

  • Keyboard Navigation: All interactive elements are accessible via keyboard using Tab, Shift+Tab, Enter, Space, and arrow keys.
  • Skip Navigation: Skip-to-content links allow keyboard users to bypass repetitive navigation elements.
  • Touch Targets: Interactive elements have adequate touch target sizes (minimum 44x44 pixels).

Content Accessibility

  • Alternative Text: Images support alternative text descriptions. We encourage all users to add descriptive alt text.
  • Video Captions: We support and encourage the use of captions on video content.
  • Content Ratings: Our content rating system helps users filter content based on their preferences.
  • Readable Fonts: We use clean, legible typefaces with appropriate line heights and letter spacing.

Screen Reader Support

  • Semantic HTML: We use proper semantic HTML elements for meaningful structure.
  • ARIA Attributes: Where native HTML semantics are insufficient, we use WAI-ARIA attributes.
  • Live Regions: Dynamic content updates are announced to screen readers using ARIA live regions.

Motion and Animation

  • Reduced Motion: We respect the "prefers-reduced-motion" operating system setting.
  • No Auto-Playing Media: Videos and audio content do not auto-play with sound.
  • No Flashing Content: We avoid content that flashes more than three times per second.

Supported Assistive Technologies

  • Screen Readers: NVDA (Windows), JAWS (Windows), VoiceOver (macOS/iOS), TalkBack (Android)
  • Voice Control: Dragon NaturallySpeaking, Voice Control (macOS/iOS), Voice Access (Android)
  • Screen Magnification: ZoomText, Windows Magnifier, macOS Zoom
  • Switch Access: Compatible with switch navigation devices on supported platforms

Known Limitations

  • User-Generated Content: Content posted by users may not always meet accessibility standards.
  • Third-Party Integrations: Some third-party components may have their own accessibility limitations.
  • Complex Media: Carousel and multi-image layouts may present navigation challenges.

Conformance Status

CleoSocial.app is partially conformant with WCAG 2.1 Level AA. "Partially conformant" means that some parts of the content do not fully conform to the accessibility standard. We are actively working to achieve full conformance.
