Child Safety Standards

CleoSocial has zero tolerance for child sexual abuse and exploitation. Learn how we prevent, detect, and report it.

Last updated: May 20, 2026

1. Our Commitment

CleoSocial.app ("CleoSocial," "Cleo," "we," "us," or "our") is committed to protecting children and maintaining a platform free from child sexual abuse and exploitation. We have a zero-tolerance policy toward child sexual abuse material (CSAM) and any form of child sexual abuse and exploitation (CSAE).

These Child Safety Standards explain how we prohibit, prevent, detect, and respond to CSAE across our website, mobile applications, and related services (collectively, the "Service"), in compliance with applicable laws and the Google Play Families and Child Safety Standards policies.

Zero tolerance — consequences are immediate and permanent.

Anyone who uploads, shares, requests, or facilitates child sexual abuse material (CSAM) or any sexual content involving a minor will have their account permanently terminated. We preserve the offending content and associated account data as required by law andreport the user to the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC) and to law enforcement. We cooperate fully with investigations and will disclose account information as legally required.

2. How We Define CSAE

Child sexual abuse and exploitation (CSAE) includes any content or conduct that sexualizes, exploits, or endangers a minor (any person under the age of 18). This includes, but is not limited to:

  • Child sexual abuse material (CSAM): any visual depiction of sexually explicit conduct involving a minor.
  • Grooming: befriending or building a relationship with a minor for the purpose of sexual abuse or exploitation.
  • Sextortion: threatening or blackmailing a minor using real or claimed intimate imagery.
  • Sexualization of minors: content that depicts, encourages, or promotes the sexual abuse of children, including manipulated, animated, or AI-generated imagery.
  • Trafficking: advertising, soliciting, or facilitating the sexual exploitation or trafficking of a minor.
  • Solicitation: requesting or attempting to obtain sexual content from or contact with a minor.

All of the above is strictly prohibited on CleoSocial, regardless of whether the subject is a real person, and regardless of the medium.

3. Age Requirements

You must be at least 13 years old to use CleoSocial, and certain features (including creator monetization) require you to be at least 18 years old. The Service is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly allow anyone under 13 to create an account. If we learn that an account belongs to someone under the minimum age, we will remove it.

4. How We Prevent and Detect CSAE

  • Content uploaded to the Service is subject to moderation, and we act on CSAE the moment we become aware of it.
  • We provide in-app and on-platform tools that let any user report content, accounts, or messages that may involve CSAE.
  • We disable accounts that violate these standards and take steps to prevent banned users from returning.
  • We preserve relevant data as required by law to support investigations by the appropriate authorities.

5. How to Report CSAE

If you encounter content or behavior that may involve the sexual abuse or exploitation of a minor, please report it immediately using either method below:

  • In the app: use the "Report" option available on any post, comment, message, or profile, and select a child-safety related reason.
  • By email: contact our Child Safety team at legal@cleosocial.app with as much detail as possible (links, usernames, and a description).

If a child is in immediate danger, contact your local law enforcement right away. In the United States, you can also report to the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC) CyberTipline at report.cybertip.org or 1-800-843-5678.

6. How We Respond to Reports

When we receive a report or otherwise become aware of CSAE, we:

  • Review the report promptly and remove violating content.
  • Suspend or permanently ban the responsible account(s).
  • Report apparent CSAM to NCMEC and/or the relevant national authority, as required by law.
  • Preserve associated evidence and cooperate with law enforcement investigations.

7. Legal Compliance

CleoSocial complies with all applicable child safety laws and regulations in the jurisdictions where we operate. In the United States, this includes reporting apparent CSAM to NCMEC in accordance with 18 U.S.C. § 2258A. We cooperate with law enforcement and child protection agencies and respond to valid legal requests.
